Nicole Andrijauskas is a painter whose practice concentrates on the juxtaposition of machines or tools with familiar icons, often using a background palette based on primary colors. Her work revolves around the impulsivity of pop culture and politics. She received her BA in Painting & Textiles from San Francisco State University in 2006, and taught mural painting throughout San Francisco Unified School District. In 2012, she received her teaching credential to expand on her artistic endeavors with young students. Nicole has exhibited work in numerous Bay Area galleries, Vancouver, Columbus, and Portland. She currently lives and works in San Diego, CA.
