ABOUT

Currently, Nicole is working in her studio on her next solo show opening in January 2028 at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco. She recently completed work, for a duo show titled "The Depths We Carry" at An.ä.log Gallery in San Francisco, also featuring Jasmin Cañas. This work explores what women absorb in silence — survival, suppression, and the unraveling of carefully maintained facades. Each painting depicts a single woman's face suspended just above water, caught between submersion and survival. The titles — Overwhelmed, Engulfed, Devoured, Consumed — name emotions women are too often expected to carry without acknowledgment. In September, Nicole will begin a public works project in San Rafael, painting one of the utility boxes along 4th Street, as one of a handful of selected artists.
Nicole received a BA in Painting & Textiles from San Francisco State University in 2006, and continued work as a mural painter throughout SF. Staying true to her counterculture community, Nicole travels to numerous motorcycle shows around the country every year to paint helmets, bikes or live murals on display. She has exhibited work in numerous Bay Area locations, Vancouver, Portland, San Diego, Los Angeles, and various other West Coast events. She currently lives and works in Sausalito, CA.
