Flamboyance is usually not the fox's style, instead preferring to remain inconspicuous, and chooses subtlety and cunning over brute strength. Ironically, vixens, or female foxes, is a term used to describe "an ill-tempered or quarrelsome woman" and a woman considered to be "sly, cunning, crafty, wily, tricky, foxy, artful, slick, mean, attaining or seeking to attain one's ends by guileful or devious means". Here, the iconic mudflap girl with an hourglass body shape, is adorned as a spiny cactus as if to outwardly display her threatening nature. She sits suggestively, further characterizing the vixen stereotype. The gloves draw the parallel between each of these elements, acting as evidence that neither the fox, vixen woman, or cactus are easily controlled.
